ON-DEMAND WEBINAR

Supporting neurodiversity in the classroom

About this webinar:

Around 13 million people in the UK have a neurological difference – that’s about 15-20% of population. Statistics suggest that the proportion of school aged children in mainstream school is actually even higher, with between 17-37% being classed as having disabilities or learning needs that require heightened levels of support

These pupils bring unique strengths and skills. However, research suggests that neurodivergent children educated in classrooms often face poor outcomes compared to neurotypical peers. Teachers and support staff may struggle to identify individual needs, and the rising number of neurodiverse learners is adding pressure to already overstretched schools.

But, when school staff are equipped with the right knowledge and tools - it benefits them, and their learners.

During this session we’ll look at how schools can support pupils with neurodiversity

We’ll be joined by Feliciea Jobson, Ex-Cognitive Development Lead and now CEO of PAGS, who’ll share;

  • tips and tricks for supporting neurodiverse learners, including Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism
  • how the Bett award winning solution from PAGS, can help schools to create personalised plans for every student in need.
It’s time to close the gap for neurodiverse pupils.
